For a fantastic community event, bringing together villages, schools and sports teams there can be no better day out than a summer fete. We’ve picked out a few coming up in our local area…
Patchway
Not content with a one day fayre, the community in Patchway organises a two week festival each year! Running from Saturday, July 8, this year has an aeronautical theme. One of the opening events of the festival is the Community Fair, in Scott Park, with the Festival Parade, live music, dancing, refreshments and fairground rides. Other key events include are the flower show, prize quiz evening and a memorial cricket match.
