Tough 10 challenge
Run around the beautiful Ashton Court Estate and raise money for charity in the process! There are no obstacles, just a chance to enjoy 10k of forest tracks and grassy inclines, leading to fantastic views of Bristol.
Bristol & West is one of the biggest hockey clubs in the city and even better its headquarters are on our doorstep in Winterbourne.
The club runs six men’s teams, a ladies team and has a flourishing junior section, with their youngest player just six-years-old!
From under 10’s all the way up to vets, they have a team for everyone and all abilities are welcome. Why not try it out?
Bristol Martial Arts Clubs is a collective of clubs, based around Bristol, with one right on our doorstep in Patchway.
Krav Maga North Bristol welcomes beginners of all ages and abilities. It’s professional instruction all the way – you won’t get hurt or pushed past your limits. Equally experienced martial arts enthusiasts can expect hard sessions, sweat and exertion!

North Bristol Running Group runs all year round and has a great community feel. Based in Bradley Stoke, it has more than 1,000 members of differing ages and abilities who support each other to train. There’s plenty of updates and information via the group’s Facebook page.
Bristol North is a friendly, competitive swimming club, with a Learn-to-Swim programme for beginners and a facility to train members up to at least South West Regional standard. They aim to provide something for all ages want, whether that be twice a week to keep fit, or every day to achieve success in competition.
Based at Filton Leisure Centre, the club also swims at a number of other pools including Horfield, Badminton School and Winterbourne Academy.
A full programme of galas is arranged to suit all levels of ability and everyone is encouraged to take part.
