We’ve found some spooktacular events for you to attend this Halloween…

Pound shop

Pumpkin Hunt at Almondsbury Garden Centre

There are 20 naughty pumpkins hiding around Almondsbury Garden Centre this Halloween and you’re being invited on a hunt to track them down.

From October 20 to 5th November 5, pumpkins will be hidden throughout the centre and all participant children will get sweet prizes – no trick!

Each child will be kindly asked to give a donation to St Peter’s Hospice and in return, handed in an activity sheet to find the hidden pumpkins.

Times: Monday – Saturday: 9.00am – 5.30pm. Sundays 10.30am – 4.30pm

Wyevale Half term Halloween Party 2018 Thornbury

Pop along to Wyevale for their Halloween Party for fun, food and ghastly games! Taking place from October 24 to 26

Enjoy a tasty meal, make a witch’s hat, hunt spooky characters for a sweet reward, do a fun activity sheet, plus other spooktacular activities! Tickets are £5.

Halloween Half Term at Wild Place Project

Wild Place Project are hoooooowling with excitement for Halloween this October half term.

The wolves of Wild Place Project are recruiting new members to join their pack between October 20 and November 4.

Get closer to nature this half term, with a walk through the woodlands that’s sure to sweep away the cobwebs. With an abundance of activities, including our Wolf Pack Trail, Pumpkin Hunt and costume competition, Halloween will be sure to delight your little monsters and keep them entertained this half term.

Buy your tickets as normal, either online or at the gate, as Halloween half terms activities are included in admission prices or as part of your annual pass membership!

Halloween Costume Competition – Dress up as your favourite characters this Halloween half term for a chance to win return tickets for you and your family. Post your entry on Instagram and tag us @wildplaceproject with the hashtag #HalloweenHalfTerm for your chance to win.

Spooky trails at Blaise Castle House Museum

Join the Blaise Castle House Museum for a magical spooky trail exploring the wonderful rooms and eccentric collections of Blaise Museum.

Find secret worlds hidden behind tiny wooden doors throughout the museum, all created with a Halloween theme.

Marvel at the collections, play in the toy room, dress up in costumes then treat yourself to a coffee and i-scream.

The trail takes place every day between October 25 – November 4 – except Monday 29 October when Blaise Museum is closed.

Free entry – donations welcome

PugFest Halloween

The Avon Riding Centre is hosting this year’s Halloween PugFest.

Taking place in Henbury, on Kings Weston Road, on October 28 between 12pm and 5pm the event will include all the PugFest fun plus ~
A Halloween trick and treat
Halloween Pug Dog show
Halloween photo booth
Kissing Booth
Stalls / Craft stalls
Food
Doggie Dash
Pumpkin fun!

And some special Tricks and Treats! Fun for the whole family!

There’s also a very special guest, the writer behind the Disney film ‘Patrick’ Will be attending with Patrick himself for a special talk and meet and greet.
Tickets are just £9 for an adult and £5 for children and Pugs / Pug Crosses go FREE!

PugFest is for Pugs and Pug crosses, but you don’t need to own a pug to attend.
